I buy and sell lots of stuff on Craigslist (just yesterday I was playing tenns with a racket I bought more than ten years ago on Craigslist) and I donate lots of unused Items to Goodwill and the SPCA thrift store (just last week I went to the new behind the store drop off at Goodwill for the first time). I would be interested to hear why the Community Mercantile people feel we need a new place to donate things in town and don't just voulenteer at one of the many other places in town that allow peole to donate stuff (like the annual UCNS rummage sale).

I know that they have more stuff than they can handle, which is why they are seeking volunteers. So I guess this is all more stuff than our existing places could handle without this relatively new (a few years old now) place. Also remember that All Things Right and Relevant no longer exists, so this may be taking up some of that slack.
